About ConvertKDP

Free, instant format converters.

What this is

ConvertKDP (convert.kdp.cool) is the format-converter family in the Kdp.Cool tool portal. Each converter is a single-purpose, browser-side tool: type your input, see the result instantly, and share a link if you want — nothing is sent to a server.

The lineup

• Time Zone Converter (live) — Convert any date and time between 80+ IANA time zones. Daylight-saving handled automatically by the browser's Intl.DateTimeFormat API.
• Unit Converter (planned) — Length, weight, volume, area, speed, and pressure with all common unit systems.
• Temperature Converter (planned) — Celsius, Fahrenheit, Kelvin, Rankine.
• Currency Converter (planned) — Live exchange rates for major currencies, refreshed daily.

Why it exists

Most online converters are bloated with autoplay videos, popups, and email-walls for "premium" features that should be free. We built ConvertKDP because we wanted the opposite: instant results, transparent math, no signup.

How we keep it free

The site is supported by Google AdSense. We aim to keep ads non-intrusive — fixed layout positions, no auto-playing video, no popups. If you'd like to support us further, simply share a link.

Our methodology

• Source data: Where applicable, we cite the authoritative source (e.g., the IANA time zone database for time zones).
• Math: Every converter shows its formula in a "Show the math" section, so you can verify or learn. No black boxes.
• Open source: The site's code is on GitHub at github.com/kedoupi/kdp-tools. Found a bug? Open an issue.

What's next

Active work is on expanding the converter set: a unit converter (length, weight, volume, area), temperature, and a currency converter with daily-refreshed rates. Suggestions welcome — see Contact.
